For her latest role in Déjà Vu she received Best Actress Award from The Romanian Filmmakers Union.

Ioana Flora made her debut in Cristi Puiu's Marfa si banii/Stuff and Dough, alongside Dragoș Bucur and Alexandru Papadopol. This was the first Romanian picture awarded a prize in 2001, at Cannes’ Quinzaine des Réalisateurs, and was credited with starting the New Wave of Romanian cinema.

She received the Best Actress Award at the Thessaloniki Film Festival for Pescuit sportiv/Hooked, directed by Adrian Sitaru and two prestigious national awards: Best Supporting Role for Bogdan Apetri’s Periferic/Outbound (Gopo Award) and Best Romanian Film Artist in 2011 (Pro Cinema Award)

A graduate of The National University of Theatre and Film "I.L. Caragiale”, her credits include also Adrian Sitaru’s Domestic and the Dutch-Romanian co-production A Long Story, directed by Jorien van Nes.

For her latest role in Déjà Vu directed by Dan Chisu, she received Best Actress Award from The Romanian Filmmakers Union (UCIN).
