Arantxa Etcheverria was born in France in 1975. She studied visual art at Villa Arson in Nice, and scenography and costumes at the National Theatre of Strasbourg.
Starting with 2013, the artist has developed an artistic practice centred on the modernist architecture of her studio in Bucharest. Her work is composed of paintings, installations, pictures and videos.
As artistic director, Arantxa Etcheverria is known for her work on La Gomera/The Whistlers (2019) and Comoara/The Treasure (2015).
