Cristian Mungiu
The Cannes International Film Festival announced the Jury for its 2013 edition. The jury will be presided over by American director and producer Steven Spielberg. Eight international movie personalities of very high level will help him award the prizes, among them Cristian Mungiu, the Romanian director, scriptwriter and producer.
The other members of the Jury are Indian actress Vidya Balan, Japanese director Naomi Kawase, Australian actress and producer Nicole Kidman, British scriptwriter, director and producer Lynne Ramsay, French actor and director Daniel Auteuil, Taiwanese director, producer and scriptwriter Ang Lee, and Austrian actor Christoph Waltz.
The Jury of the 66th Festival de Cannes will have to decide between the films in Competition to award the Prizes which will be announced during the Closing Ceremony on May 26th — the Palme d’Or being the highlight of the Ceremony.
